You can try this mod if you want some weapons and armor with a good durability and faster tools.

This mod will make your life easier if you think that vanilla tools aren't powerfull enough or don't have enough durability.

To begin, start by making obsidian shards like so :

Then, you can craft your first obsidian weapons :

After that, craft your first ruby :

Then, make your first ruby infused obsidian tools using a mithing table :
