Rainbow Stone adds color to redstone. Redstone dust, redstone blocks and redstone torches can all be dyed!
Each colors will only connect to itself and power itself. A blue redstone torch only powers blue redstone dust. This can be used to create more compact systems.
Recipes are similar to recipes in minecraft used to dye something. You can combine any dye with redstone, redstone block or redstone torch.
You can either surround 1 dye to dye 8 items at the same time or use 1 dye with 1 item.
Redstone dust can be converted to the red version of my mod's dust and back.
If you throw 4 dust of different colors in a water block or in a cauldron full of water, you'll get 4 Rainbow Stone Dust. These can be connected to any color component.
Of course, you can also make Rainbow Stone Blocks and Rainbow Stone Torches with those in a crafting table.
