Polished Planks adds blocks, slabs, stairs, buttons, plates, fences and even unique door and trapdoor designs of each vanilla wood type. The new planks intend to resemble laminated vaneer.
The recipe for the new planks is any plank variant: 8 surrounding 1 honeycomb in the middle. The difference is subtle, but the additional smoothness and shininess to the woods might be beneficial to a type of build you'd go for.
