PlayerCountMessage is a plugin which allows you to change the message when you hover with your curser above the playercount display Notice: I've only tested the plugin with the 1.7.2 because I am currently not at home!
In the config.yml, you can change the message with several lines
Make sure that you have installed ProtocolLib!
PlayerCountMessage: - §6This is the first line and its gold - §2This is the second line and its green
