PixelBlockRanch is a NeoForge 1.21.1 sidemod for Pixelmon, created to bring back the legacy breeding behavior from Pixelmon 1.12.2 without replacing the modern nursery and ranch structure from the current Pixelmon line.
This mod must be installed on both the client and the server.
PixelBlockRanch focuses on restoring the functional behavior of the old ranch breeding system, especially egg generation, pair compatibility, breeding duration, egg species calculation, and inheritance rules. The goal is to make the practical result of breeding feel as close as possible to Pixelmon 1.12.2.
At the same time, some parts of the modern Pixelmon 1.21.1 infrastructure are intentionally preserved when they do not affect the legacy behavior this project aims to restore.

Restored legacy behavior:
- Replaces the modern breeding logic with a custom legacy-style implementation
- Removes modern daycare requirements for a flow closer to the old ranch system
- Recalculates breeding duration using classic pair compatibility
- Restores legacy-style egg species logic
- Restores legacy-style move inheritance logic
- Restores legacy-style growth inheritance logic
- Supports classic special cases such as Ditto, Nidoran, Volbeat, Illumise, baby species by incense, and Volt Tackle
- Makes regional forms follow the mother's form pattern
