This simple mod restores the pig minecart (dubbed "PigCart") functionality that was lost in 1.21.3 as described in this bug report.
Before 1.21.3, players were able to move in a minecart at 8m/s (same speed granted by a powered rail), but this behaviour was patched out.
With this mod you'll be able to (once again) have minecart transportation systems without a need for expensive powered rails to reach decent (for a minecart) speeds.
To move forward in a pigcart, press your backwards movement key [S]. To move backwards, press your forward movement key [W]. To move right, press your left movement key [A]. To move left, press your right movement key [D].
