Rain Particles
Falls at an angle, as if blown by wind. The wind is stronger during stormy weather.

Snow Particles
Rotate slowly as they fall.

Sandstorms
Dust and shrubs blow through deserts and other dry biomes. Supports modded biomes.

New in v3.0:
Biome Tint
Rain and water particles match the biome's water tint

Water Ripples
Appears when rain falls onto water. Will match the resolution of your resource pack.

Water Streaks
Appears when rain hits a wall made of a hard material.

Ground Fog
Appears just above sea level in humid biomes.

Foggier Fog?
Experimental, laggy, and disabled by default.

New in v3.3:
Puddles
Shader compatible. Can overlap with non-solid blocks. Puddle placement is editable by resource packs.

Configuration
If you have mod menu installed you can change various aspects of the particles' behaviour. All effects can be toggled on and off. As of v3.1 the config requires Yet Another Config Library instead of Cloth.

Mod Compatibility
Particle Tweaks
- For Minecraft 1.20, use particle tweaks 1.1.1 if you encounter a crash with the later versions.
Serene Seasons
- Not compatible with versions older than 9.3. Please make sure to double check which version of serene seasons you are downloading. The latest version is not necessarily the one at the top!
- Rain in deserts is a feature of serene seasons during specific seasons, not a bug with particle rain!
Please check for or submit an issue if you run into other problems!
