Optunia is a mod that adds the Optunia Microdasys!
The optunia plant can be obtained most easily in deserts, but can grow on dirt, coarse dirt, sand and gravel in any biome.
Once fully grown, the optunia will be flowering! At this stage, you can harvest it for optunia pads, and replant the optunia if you wish.
The plant can be used in two ways, to obtain dye and as a personal defensive block.
To obtain dye from the optunia, either smelt it to obtain green dye, or craft it in any crafting bench to obtain pink dye.
The optunia will damage enemies similarly to cacti in stages 2 or 3 of growth, but does not block the path of enemies, allowing for an easy to use method of killing mobs for a farm, or even as a defensive structure.
It also makes a great decoration!
