Obsidian Optimizer is a Optimizer based off of paper servers.
How it works:
Lower VD (chunks) = fewer entities and blocks sent to the client → lighter render load → higher FPS.
Lower nVD (no-tick distance) = client still sees terrain but server doesn’t simulate mobs/entities → server uses less CPU → lower MSPT → more stable TPS.
Adaptive system = players with bad ping don’t drag down the whole server.
So it basically makes the server-client communication lighter, so both sides do less work.
