to make waffles you need waffle mix -->  

waffles can impact the game by adding a whole new food soures

waffles are a great early gave food sourse because to make a waffle iron you need 2 iron ingots 2 iron nuggets 2 stone of any type and 1 redstone dust.

you can also find waffle mix and waffle irons in waffle houses which are new rare structures.
