Description

This mod is now considered dead. It works in its current state but will not be updated by me.

Nether Gold adds gold ore in the nether which will drop vanilla gold nuggets and sometimes will drop fiery gold dust.

What does this mod do?

This mod was originally made just for the Nether Gold Ore because I thought, "Where did the pigmen get their gold?"

I added the idea of Fiery Gold while developing the ore.
Nether Gold Ore will drop fiery gold dust, along with vanilla golden nuggets, from time to time. When smelted, this dust turns into a Fiery Gold Ingot.

You can use Fiery Gold Ingots in many recipes to make tools and armor in the same way you would craft vanilla tools and armor.

Of coarse, you are able to enable/disable all of these blocks/items in the config.

FAQ:

  • Can I include Nether Gold in my Modpack?
    • Yep! Not required, but please let me know. I would love to check out other's creations.
  • Will you be adding any more features?
    • Most likely not, I will just be porting to newer versions, fixing bugs, and other general coding things from now on.
    • Only if someone gives me a crazy good idea.
  • Can you back-port this mod to 'X' version?
    • If I do, only as far back as 1.10.2
    • Only if someone expresses interest in a version. I won't be back-porting if no one wants it.
  • I only want the ore, not the fiery gold stuff.
    • Just disable what you don't want in the configs.
  • Am I able to see the code?
  • I have an issue / bug / crash / report / request, where can I send it?
