This mod is a huge overhaul of the technical aspects of Minecraft.

WARNING: This mod in development! There may be bugs and unobtainable items, as well as unfinished features.

A
bout the mod:

This is a collaboration mod made by Boblovespi and LazTheArtist.
We plan to redesign the whole gameplay of the game through adding new gameplay elements and refining vanilla ones.

 

Ages:

Progression in this mod is broken down into ages. Each age has unique mechanics that are unlocked by progressing to said age, as well as an ultimate goal in order to reach the next age.

Some of the ages, as well as what features they have: 

  • Stone Age, the chopping blade and chopping block
  • Copper Age, the stone foundry for casting metals
  • Iron age, mechanical power and bellows (work in progress)
  • Bronze age, heat power and steam power (unimplemented)
  • And more are planned!

 

Implemented Features:

  • Rocks and flint spawning in the overworld
  • No more tree punching! Instead, get a chopping blade
  • A chopping block, for making planks
  • TFC-style charcoal pits
  • A primitive stone foundry for casting your first metals
  • Copper tools
  • A custom workbench for crafting most machines
  • A unique way for obtaining your first iron from limonite
  • A higher tier brick foundry that can smelt iron directly with help from the paper bellows
  • Brick drying, and custom brick firing
  • And more to come!

How to Install

Download Forge & Java

Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.

Prepare

Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.

Add Mods

Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder

Enjoy

You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
