Description

About More Ores

More Ores adds 7 new ores to the overworld: Bauxite (aluminium ore); Cuprite (copper ore); Pentlandite (nickel ore); Galena (lead ore); Cassiterite (tin ore); Argenite (silver ore); and Sphalerite (zinc ore). Along with 7 ingots, 9 dusts and chunks, respectful to their ores, and 3 alloy ingots: Aluminium Brass; Brass; and Bronze. Craft a Rock Grinder to obtain ore chunks, these come in 6 different tiers: Stone; Iron; Gold; Diamond; Emerald; and Unbreakable.

More Ores allows for ores to be doubled. Simply mine an ore with a Rock Grinder to gain 2-3 chunks of that ore, then use a blast furnace to obtain the ingot form. Alternatively, ores can be mined with a normal pickaxe and smelted to obtain their ingot form without the ability of doubling. Use a Rock Ginder in a crafting table to obtain dust forms of ingots and smelt dusts to regain their ingot form. More Ores also adds to the Forge ore dictionary, "forge:[item type]/[item]", its ingots, dusts, ores, blocks and nuggets (last 3 yet to be implemented) and creating an ore dictionary for Minecraft pickaxes, "moreores:tools/pickaxe". Additionally, Rock Grinders are also part of an ore dictionary, "moreores:tools/rock_grinder".

This mod was created to complement Better Flint & Steels (Update is yet to be released to be fully compatible with More Ores), under the GPLv3 license.
