Description

Expanded Progression is a mod designed to flesh out the types of armor and tools available to the player, and comes with built-in compatibility with "Survive". Currently implemented features include:

Twine/Plant Fiber Clothing: Meant as early-game clothing until the player is able to craft and wear better armor. These new clothes are made from plant fibers and twine. Twine clothing provides a warmth bonus when used in conjunction with "Survive", and conversely, plant fiber clothing provides a cooling bonus.

Plant Fibers: Harvested from grass, and can be crafted into twine for further crafting, cooked for a light snack, or compressed in a glass bottle for a refreshing drink. Plant Water quenches hydration when used in conjunction with "Survive", however you may incur a thirst penalty. You might also encounter an adorable little ladybug while harvesting fibers!

Twine: Made from collected plant fibers. Used in most of the other crafting recipes in this mod.

Knives: An Improvised Knife, which is made from cobblestone and twine; and an Improved Knife, made with iron and twine bundles. Both knives increase how much plant fiber you receive, and also act as early-game shears and a weak weapon.

Slingshots: Early-game ranged weapons made from sticks and twine, and use rocks as projectiles. Useful when feathers or flint for arrows are scarce.

Quivers: Nocked arrows can be made into increasingly larger bundles of arrows, and these bundles can be combined with their respective quiver case to give Quivers. These quivers will provide arrows for a set amount, increasingly more as the quality of quiver increases, and once exhausted, will give back the quiver case for further crafting.

Hardened Leather Armor: Leather that has been tanned by a campfire is much stronger, and when combined with chainmail, gives this armor, which is slightly better than Iron armor, and offers a small amount of knockback resistance.

Reinforced Tusk Armor: Combining pieces of Hardened Leather Armor with gold ingots and reinforced hoglin tusks gives this armor, which is the same stat-wise as Hardened Leather. However, while in the Nether, you'll receive a passive Resistance effect.....and you'll look cool while wearing it!

Tusks: Hoglins and Zoglins may drop their tusks when slain. Hoglin Tusks can be reinforced with gold and used to craft Reinforced Tusk Armor. Rotten Tusks are decayed versions of Hoglin Tusks, and some traders may desire these as trophies of conquest. In return, you'll receive an eerie totem-like object.

Piglin Talisman: Not much is known about these talismans, however, they may prevent a total loss of your inventory to the void....for a price.

Upcoming Features

Currently, we are working on expanding the mod further to include new tools, new armor and a cool new process for getting powerful items!

Versions

Currently, only FORGE is supported for this mod, and there are no plans to support Fabric.
