Description

This mod aims to add more mineable materials to Minecraft, similarly to the recent addition of copper. It also aims to add metals that many mods don't already add.

The textures were made by my brother, Classic Quantum.

The current stuffs are:

  • Tungsten
  • Silver
  • Bismuth
  • Sulfur
  • Adamant Metal
  • Electrum (WIP)

In addition to these metals this mod also adds:

  • Polished Tuff, Dripstone, and Calcite
  • Refinery
  • Alloy Table
  • Rich variants of Stone, Deepslate, and Netherrack (for use in refinery)

Tungsten:

Mined in the nether, tungsten has some usages.

Tungsten can be used to make the tungsten bulb, a light source that can be placed on any side of a block and emits a weak redstone signal.

The weight is a heavy block that falls, crushes things, and cannot be pushed by a piston.

The tungsten hammer deals extra damage to armored targets

Silver:

Silver is found in the overworld

The silver ward is a block that damage undead and villagers in the area when stepped on by such mobs.

The silver mace is a melee weapon that is powerful against the undead.

The silver cuirass has a powerful reaction to undead damage

Bismuth:

Bismuth is very common in the overworld.

It's pretty!

It can be brewed into an awkward potion to make tonic, which removes other status effects as well as heals you.

It's also used to make the Alloy Table and Refinery

Sulfur:

Sulfur is common in the nether.

Sulfur can be used to make gunpowder.

A sulfur block can be brewed into a bucket of water to make acid, a critical ingredient for the refinery.

Adamant Metal:

Adamant metal is mined in the end.

Adamant metal can be used to make an armor set that has stats between diamond and netherite.

It will probably see a tool set in the future.

I didn't know what to tag it as, so it has no specific tags.

Alloy Table (WIP):

The first two slots are ingredient slots, add two metals and take the output from the third slot.

Only supports electrum currently.

Refinery:

Add acid buckets to the bottom left slot to fill the refinery.

Add a rich stone variant to the top left, and the refinery will begin to refine.

1/3 chance for results, 1/20 chance for result to be rare.

For Modpack Creators:

Feel free to add this mod to your modpack.

Most metals should be tagged correctly, comment if the tags need fixing.

The tag "metalicthoughts:refineable" defines what is a valid input for the refinery.

The tags "metalicthoughts:metallurgy_common" and "metalicthoughts:metallurgy_rare" define common and rare outputs for the refinery.

I'm afraid that you cannot add recipes to the alloy table, because this mod was made in mcreator, but if there are any very important ones, I may add them in an update, comment them.

Note: the mod namespace is "metalicthoughts" with one "L" because I misspelled it.
