(Release V0.6.1)
Adds craftable flying carpets to Minecraft with full plane-style flight controls. Bank left and right, pitch up and down, and soar across the world on a handwoven magic carpet.

• configurable speed
• server compatible
• lightweight (no worldgen or heavy systems)
Flying a carpet feels nothing like an elytra or creative mode flight.
Hold W to accelerate, S to brake. Press A and D to bank and turn. Look up or down to climb and dive.
The carpet keeps its momentum when you stop pressing forward, letting you coast through the air. When you release the turn keys, the carpet levels itself back out naturally.
Carpets aren't cheap. You'll need to work through a multi-stage crafting chain (and beat the Wither) before you can take flight.
Forge a Magic Needle from iron, gold, lapis lazuli, and amethyst

Spin Magical Thread using string, gold, diamonds, and the needle

Weave the Carpet Body from red wool, a nether star, magical thread, and more

Craft four Carpet Tassels with ghast tears, blaze powder, and magical thread

Assemble everything into the final Flying Carpet

The Magic Needle is never consumed during crafting, so keep it safe.
Build the Carpet Workbench to upgrade and enhance your carpets. The workbench has two tabs — Tiers and Upgrades — each with its own progression path.

Upgrade your carpet through 4 tiers for increased speed. Each tier requires rarer materials, pushing you deeper into endgame content. Tier 4 requires a Dragon Egg (not consumed)

Apply up to 3 upgrades to any carpet, each with 3 levels:
Storage — Press E while riding to open an on-carpet inventory. Level I gives 9 slots, Level II a full chest, and Level III a double chest. Items persist when you pick up the carpet.
Aqua Lung — Grants water breathing while riding. Higher levels add Dolphin's Grace and Conduit Power for full underwater mobility.
Feather Fall — Grants Slow Falling on dismount so you can safely bail at any altitude. Level III adds Damage Resistance for extra protection.
All upgrades and tiers are independent — mix and match to build the carpet you want.

Flight physics are fully configurable via the config file. Adjust acceleration, turn speed, bank angle, pitch responsiveness, and per-tier speed caps to tune the flight feel for your pack.
