Description

The LotsofMetalMod attempts to enrich the mining experience by adding several new ores, including aluminum, carbon, cassiterite, copper, garnierite, magnesium, mythril, silver, sulphur, titanium, and tungsten. There are also new stone variants, like limestone, marble, and slate!

You may find each ore in the following areas:

- Aluminum Ore: overworld, anywhere

- Carbon Ore: overworld, <y64

- Cassiterite Ore: overworld, warm climates

- Copper Ore: overworld, cold climates and hills

- Garnierite: overworld, warm climates, <y64

- Magnesium Ore: overworld, <y32

- Mythril Ore: nether, anywhere

- Silver Ore: overworld, <y48

- Sulphur Ore: nether, anywhere

- Titanium Ore: overworld, <y16

- Tungsten Ore: overworld, forest, mountain, and plains, <y16

There are many kinds of metals you can create with the various ores after smelting them:

- Aluminum Ingot (smelt or blast aluminum ore)

- Cobalt Ingot (smelt or blast nickel ingot)

- Copper Ingot (smelt or blast copper ore)

- Magnesium Ingot (smelt or blast magnesium ore)

- Mythril Ingot (combine four raw mythril and four silver ingot in crafting grid)

- Nickel Ingot (smelt or blast garnierite)

- Silver Ingot (smelt or blast silver ore)

- Steel Ingot (combine carbon and iron ingot in crafting grid)

- Stainless Steel Ingot (combine nickel ingot and steel ingot in crafting grid)

- Tin Ingot (combine carbon and cassiterite in crafting grid)

- Titanium Ingot (combine magnesium ingot and raw titanium in crafting grid)

- Tungsten Ingot (combine cobalt ingot and three raw tungsten in crafting grid)

The following objects can be used as fuel:

- Block of Magnesium

- Block of Sulphur

- Magnesium Ingot

- Sulphur

There are several other recipes included in the mod as well! They are as follows:

- Aluminum Tools & Armor: made using aluminum ingots, cheap material

- Block of Metal: nine of any one ingot, produces one block of that type (block of copper can be made into slab and stair variants)

- Canned Vegetables: one tin can surrounded by eight of one vegetable, produces one can of food that is expended when eaten

- Cobalt Tools and Armor: made using cobalt ingots, better than steel

- Glow Block: one block of magnesium surrounded by eight glowstone

- Gunpowder: one each of carbon, salt, and sulphur

- Mythril Tools & Armor: made using mythril ingots, not quite as good as titanium plated tungsten, but faster and much higher enchantment rate

- Nuggets: copper, mythril, nickel, and silver ingots can be crafted into nuggets

- Polished Limestone: four limestone made into a square in crafting grid (can be made into slab, stairs, and wall variants)

- Polished Marble: four marble made into a square in crafting grid (can be made into slab, stairs, and wall variants)

- Reinforced Wood: one steel ingot surrounded by eight of one wood type in crafting grid, produces eight reinforced wood (can be made into slab, stairs, and wall variants)

- Stainless Steel Tools & Armor: made using stainless steel ingots, better than titanium but not as good as tungsten

- Steel Tools & Armor: made using steel ingots, better than iron

- Tiled Clay: four brick made into a square in crafting grid, great for roofing (can be made into slab and stairs variants)

- Tiled Concrete: four concrete of any color made into a square in crafting grid, great for roofing (can be made into slab and stairs variants)

- Tiled Slate: four slate made into a square in crafting grid, great for roofing (can be made into slab and stairs variants)

- Tin Can: three tin ingots in the shape of a bowl

- Titanium Plated Tungsten Tools & Armor: upgraded from tungsten with titanium ingot at smithing table, arguably overpowered

- Titanium Tools & Armor: made using titanium ingots, rather good

- Tungsten Tools & Armor: made using tungsten ingots, very powerful

Finally, there is a coin system involving various metals found in the mod:

- Copper Piece: crafted using a single nickel nugget and four copper nuggets with the nickel nugget in the center of the crafting grid and the copper nuggets surrounding it (makes two)

          - can be upgraded to silver piece by combining eight in crafting grid

- Silver Piece: crafted using a single nickel nugget and four silver nuggets with the nickel nugget in the center of the crafting grid and the silver nuggets surrounding it (makes two)

          - can be upgraded to gold piece by combining eight in crafting grid

- Gold Piece: crafted using a single nickel nugget and four gold nuggets with the nickel nugget in the center of the crafting grid and the gold nuggets surrounding it (makes two)

          - can be upgraded to gold coin sack by combining eight in crafting grid

- Gold Coin Sack: crafted by upgrading gold pieces

- Mythril Piece: crafted using a single nickel nugget and four mythril nuggets with the nickel nugget in the center of the crafting grid and the mythril nuggets surrounding it (makes two)

          - can be upgraded to mythril coin sack by combining eight in crafting grid

- Mythril Coin Sack: crafted by upgrading mythril pieces
