Legacy Version Number

WARNING: THIS MOD MODIFIES GAME PACKETS! DO NOT JOIN SERVERS WITH IT!!

Legacy Version Number is a simple Fabric mod that brings back Minecraft’s old version naming scheme.

Modern Minecraft versions like:

26.1.2

will be displayed as:

1.26.1.2

The mod does not change gameplay, worlds, blocks, or items. It only adjusts the displayed version name so newer releases feel consistent with Minecraft’s classic 1.xx naming style.
