You can now choose between the old 1.7 and the new 1.8 animations and designs. For instance, you don't like how the new blocking animation in 1.8 looks, but you prefer the new more articulated tab list in the 1.8, just activate the 1.7 blocking feature and the 1.8 tab list in the mod settings!
There's a new Teamspeak tab that allows for a quick and easy way to access the teamspeak server you're currently looged into and provides you with all the basic features you need, like switching the channel, moving, chatting and poking. This feature is especially usefull for people who only have one monitor. It unfortunately only works with one teamspeak server at a same time.
The LabyMod chat allows an easy communication via Minecraft. You can add friends, delete them and if necessary, even block them. You are able to join the server your friends are playing at. And it's also possible for you to send screenshots and voice messages to your friends. Besides the chat layout also based on Skype.
