This mod adds "Ages", time periods (customizable by gamerules) when you are limited in the mining and placing of some tier materials. This tries to emulate that early experience we all had first entring Minecraft, advancing slowly throught the game and spending more time with low tier tools.

 

 

There are 5 Ages:    -  Wooden Age: you can not mine Stone (tier 0)

                                 - Stone Age: you can not mine Iron (tier 1)

                                 - Iron Age: you can not mine Diamond nor Gold (tier 2)

                                 - Diamond Age: you can not mine Obsidian nor Netherite (tier 3)

                                 - Netherite Age: once this Age, you have no restrictions (even tier 4+ modded materials)

 

 

Also the mod adds new entities and ores to spice up gameplay when waiting between Ages.

 

The new materials are:

                                       - Aluminium: is generated similar to Iron, but can be mined during Stone Age. Has slightly beter stats than stone and you can craft armor.

 

                                      - Alexandrite: is generated similar to Gold and can be mined during Iron Age. Has low durability but provides a exp bonus after defeating foes/mining blocks.

 

                                      - Osmium: is generated similar to Diamond and can be mined during Diamond Age. Has less durability than Diamond but a lot more of damage and        mining speed, however has bad attack speed.

 

 

The new mobs are: 

                                    -  Dwarves: spawn in their houses deep under ground. They can trade with you AluminiumAlexandrite and Osmium Ingots, giving you Emeralds.

                               

                                    - Livingstone: They are stone-made mobs that can only spawn underground once Stone Age is reached. They have a lot of HP and damage, but      pickaxes deal more damage to them. They will run away Dwarves.

 

The commands and gamerules:

 

[GRmaxWoodenAge: sets the time (in minutes) it will take to end the Wood Age

[GRmaxStoneAge: sets the time (in minutes) it will take to end the Stone Age.

[GRmaxIronAge: sets the time (in minutes) it will take to end the Iron Age.

[GRmaxIronAge: sets the time (in minutes) it will take to end the Diamond Age.

[CRcurrentAgeSet: sets the current Age of the world, being 0 Wodden Age4 Netherite Age.

[Commandageprint: says the current Age you are in and the time (in ticks) it has passed since it begun.

[Commandwooden_age_set: sets your world into the Wooden Age.

[Commandstone_age_set: sets your world into the Stone Age.

[Commandiron_age_set: sets your world into the Iron Age.

[Commanddiamond_age_set: sets your world into the Diamond Age.

[Commandnetherite_age_set: sets your world into the Netherite Age.

Thanks to check out my mod! I have this mode mod idea after playing in different modded worlds and straight up jumping to powerful tools. You know, this game can be relaxing if you want, keep calm and don't craft Wood Armor ;-)

How to Install

Download Forge & Java

Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.

Prepare

Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.

Add Mods

Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder

Enjoy

You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
