Description

JEI Recipes and Uses

View item recipes and uses

This mod is directly changed from the original JEI (Just Enough Items) mod. It allows players to see items' recipes and uses while removing the ingredients overlay.

Makes the game immersive

This mod was meant to make Minecraft survival more immersive and challenging. Rather than knowing everything available in the game at anytime, players must learn the capabilities of all items they come across by viewing their recipes and uses. It prevents players from "spoiling" themselves and seeing items that are not obtainable in survival, especially in other mods. While the ingredients overlay could be toggled in the original JEI, removing it completely forces this immersion.

Default keybindings (on mouse hover) are "R" to show recipes and "U" to show uses

You can change these in the keybinds settings.

This mod is experimental and more updates will come if wanted

Most of the mod's files are kept the same. Some of the things in the config files (like ingredients list options) will not matter. This mod is standalone and must not be played with JEI.
