This mod lets you disenchant an item using an anvil
Put the enchanted item in the Right Slot, book(s) in the Left.
Disenchanting will destroy the item to put ALL of its enchants on the book.
It will always cost one level, I figured this was fair-ish given that you will still have to pay to apply the enchants to the new item
You can disenchant damaged items, potentially preserving your beloved enchantments forever
