Passive/Neutral animals cannot be damaged from any source. Your pet dog is now safe.
Dogs will not endlessly chase unkillable animals.
Bees can still sting but do not die afterward so can and will strike again.
Villagers also do not die.
WARNING: For obvious reasons any animal drops (e.g. leather and feathers) are now the rarest items in the game.
