Description

The aim of this mod is to make every new start harder then before. The mod changes a LOT of early-game survival needs:

1. Crafting Table recipe has been changed, so now it's easier to find a village and steal one from there.

2. Crude Workbench made with sticks and such is your option to craft usual Crafting Table if you don't want to travel. It behaves about the same as regular Crafting Table but will only survive 21 crafts before it breaks.

3. Furnace recipe has been changed not that much, but it still can be challenging.

4. Chests are no longer consist of plain planks. You'll have to use special workbench to craft it.

5. Stone no longer drop cobblestone. It drops Small Rocks instead.

This mod is played best with No Tree Punching!

And yes, the mod adds a couple of simple items (Nails, Screws, Hinges, Boards, Glue) as well as a set of hand tools (Saw, Hammer, Screwdriver, Scissors, Hand Drill), which along with the Universal Workbench could be pretty useful for any hardcore modpack. So, feel free to use it in yours.

Recipes for Universal Workbench is datapack-based. JEI integration included.
