Description

This mod introduces a new item called the fishing net, which can be thrown at enemies (and friends) or placed in water to catch fish and more!

 

To harvest a net, simply break it with any tool in your main hand. Alternatively, you can catch one fish at a time by right-clicking the net.

 

The probability of catching a fish with a net depends on the number of water blocks surrounding the net within a large radius. Therefore, the best results are achieved in open water.

 

Fishing nets can be enchanted with Luck of the Sea, Lure, or Unbreaking, and you can also apply bone meal and fish meal baits to the placed nets to attract fish and improve your chances of a successful catch.

 

Fish meal can be obtained by cooking cooked cod, cooked salmon, pufferfish, or clownfish in a furnace.

 

By default, nets without bonuses have a wait time of 8 minutes before catching the next fish, while fully enhanced nets have a wait time of 4 minutes. However, all of these settings can be adjusted in the giacomos_fishing_net-server.toml configuration file.

 

Additional rendering parameters can be adjusted by accessing the configuration screen or by modifying the settings in the giacomos_fishing_net-client.toml configuration file.

How to Install

Download Forge & Java

Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.

Prepare

Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.

Add Mods

Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder

Enjoy

You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
