Howdy! ;)
Welcome to the GARUW page, a mod/addon for Minecraft 1.16.5 related to the Dalek Mod of this version.
The mod acts primarily as a port of the Dalek Mod 1.12.2 content to 1.16.5 ,that is no longer available, but also adds extra content customized or requested by some people, so you can build your Doctor who world and TARDIS in unlimited ways.

Requested by many players who want to continue their TARDIS or Doctor Who projects from 1.12 to 1.16, it adds most of the missing content from Dalek Mod such as Blocks, Sounds and Music, and perhaps in the future Models.
In addition, there are also other custom blocks, sounds, music, etc. that are added for more choice and imagination.
Why limit yourself when you can create everything ?  :)

 


Let us introduce you to the different parts:

 

First of all, you have the different blocks:

These are the Dalek Mod blocks that are no longer available in Dalek Mod 1.16.5 (import of the blocks without those already present in 1.16).

There are the Tardis blocks such as the Roundels, which work the same way as in 1.16,

the walls and floors have been added to continue your "Personal TARDIS" project,

but also the decorative and dimension blocks

while trying to restore their functionality as best we could, with the possibility for some to chose the direction of the block's texture.

Then, you have more blocks, including new concrete, terracotta, and even wool stairs and slabs! Inspired by some of the ones that were already in Dalek Mod (red concrete, green terracotta), we've added all the colors for even more choice :)

There are also some custom roundels made by us, especially new concrete ones (added to 5 already existing), and possibly in the future others created by players.

Moreover, there are the music discs that have been added:
There are the Dalek Mod ones, with the theme "The Astrovalva" as a little extra (because it's great, especially for the disco).

And there are others we've put in, such as the Fallout Who theme, J.Pertwee's "Who Is The Doctor" song, and of course the Venusian Lullaby with its iterations. There are also Star Wars records to dance to or just in the background at a party, or whatever you fancy.

And speaking of records, there are sounds!
We've also brought back most of the sounds from Dalek Mod 1.12 that may be useful for anyone using the commands for mechanics or whatever, plus some we've added for utility and fun. And to make life easier, we've separated them into different categories for easy reference:

-block, item, record, entity, music
-misc. (other and miscellaneous sounds),
-mechanic. (everything electronic, machines, mechanisms,...),
-tardis.engine. (Tardis engine sounds),
-tardis.controls. (sounds of controls, buttons, console,...),
-tardis.door. (Tardis door sounds),
-tardis.handbrakes,
-tardis.hum,
-tardis.lock. (Tardis door lock sounds),
-tardis.hum (Tardis ambient sounds),
-portal (sounds coming from Portal),
-gun. (gun sounds)
-meme. (sounds of#k§%µ£$°@}¤^;>ç)

 



[The COUA and others new items]
In addition, here's another custom part of our mod, for apparently some who do Rp in their Tardis or Doctor Who world or for short films and also just to have fun, there are the "Common Objects & Usual Articles". This group also comes with food and in the future, clothes, and consists of adding items, functional or not, representing objects that are common in life or useful, which can also be put in containers or item-frames for decoration or play.

[In the future]

Lastly, there are some changes planned in the future.

At the moment there is English and French language available, more may be coming. Some block names have been changed for more practicality; (example with RGB or Rainbows where the direction of movement of the colors is indicated in the name instead of having A-B-C..., so to be able to find the right one more easily)
In addition, we would like to be able to add Dalek Mod 1.12 models in the future, as well as making the recipes for the added content to be available in survival.

We will also add new COUAs and clothes, to further develop this part, and maybe new sounds as well.

Finally, the mod will also be adjusted according to the next updates of Dalek Mod.

How to Install

Download Forge & Java

Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.

Prepare

Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.

Add Mods

Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder

Enjoy

You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
