Description
American Signs and Signals Pack
This is a large pack of signs based on the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) of the United States. This pack contains multiple categories which will all show up as their own "packs" and have their own Creative inventory tabs. These categories include Regulatory (speed limits, stop/yield signs, and lane usage signs, among other), Warning (yellow diamond signs for curves, intersections, and more), Construction (similar to Warning, but orange for use in construction zones), Marker (route marker signs, object markers, and the various direction and arrow plaques for them), Misc (includes mile markers and other miscelanious signs), Feature Name Signs (road names, distance/destination signs, and such), and now freeway signs (overhead gantry signs and the gantry poles to support them).
ONLINE IMAGE HOSTING URLs
When hosting online images for use on some signs, I recommend Cloudinary.com. Imgur used to be the primary host, but they recently enacted new policy which prohibits the use of their site for hosting and streaming to other places, as such MTS can not read them anymore. Cloudinary is specifically designed for something like this, it is free, and it even allows you to set up a folder structure to easily organize and find your images. I have a folder just for signs, and in that folder are subfolders for things like arrows, US Route shields, Interstate shields, various state route signs, etc.
UPDATE
So, it's been a long time since this pack was updated, and a lot has changed for both this pack and MTS itself. Improvements in this update include:
Font rentering should now be fixed.
Font color has been fixed.
Traffic signal posts now look better at the junction between vertical and horizontal posts.
