this mod adds a simple fusing table which you use to fuse multiple items together. You can fuse a ender pearl with a ender crystal to get a nether star and you can fuse two chains together to get chainmail which you can use to make chainmail armor.
There are also many different types of fusions that you can get like making netherite armor and tools without a smithing template
