The Factorio Mod

This mod contains elements of the game Factorio, AAI Industries mod and the Space Exploration Mod, please visit these respective mods since I do not own the ideas this mod is based on. My goal with this was to introduce this amazing game to the world of minecraft and try to make it fun.

This mod will include many new ways and paths of progression besides the vanilla way of progression. The foundation of Factorio is based upon copper, iron and a few others forming intermediate products which combine over and over to form more complex structures and tools. This mod aims to do a similar thing, you should be able to reach end-game gear and tools without mining a diamond.

The New Raw Materials:

Introducing copper, steel and uranium

I'm sure you've seen all of these materials before in other mods and they function the same.

Copper and Steel are used for creating devices and technology.

Uranium works a bit differently since there are two types Uranium-235 and Uranium-238 where both are useds for nuclear energy and advanced technology.

There is also three types of oil crude oil, heavy oil and light oil all able to be used for many things.

These products of oil include plastics, lubricant and petroleum gas.

There is also sulfur which and be used for batteries which power certain tools.

Finally in the newer versions of 1.1.0 and beyond I've introduced Space Exploration materials.

There will be beryl for light-weight aerodynamic structures. Vulcanite for intense thermodynamic based recipes.

Cryonite for insanely low temperatures and cooling systems.

And many more to be added.

The New Mechanics:

- Burner tools needing fuel to function.

- Armor accessories that augment the capabilities of the armor separate from enchantments.

- Basic energy systems and transport systems

- Automation and massive raw ore mines

- New interplanetary logistics and travelling

My Goals:

I plan revamp all the textures in the mod and make them look actually good. Add hostiles enemies (the biters). Improve GUIs and make the new crating units appear on JEI. Improve the space exploration parts of the mod. Add a bunch of 3D models to make the mod look amazing.
