Description

Enhanced Movement is a standalone mod. The only requirement is FabricAPI. It enabled double jumps and directional dashing.

Enhanced Movement for Minecraft 1.19+ uses Fabric. A Forge version is not planned.

I always liked the fun and chaotic nature of adding a double dash and double jump into minecraft. This is a mod I thought was missing in Fabric so I decided to take it upon myself to try and create this and overall it was a fun experience. It enables both of these features out the gate with no items / trinkets required.

Current Mod Version:

  • 1.0.6

    Supported Versions:

    • 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20-snapshot (all the same file)
    • 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4

Features:

  • Double Jump (prevents the next fall damage)
  • Directional Dashing (left, right, forward, back)
  • Config for all relevant variables (both client and server config - server config may need testing)
  • Ledge Grabbing functionality (Thanks to Krb0 on github)

Instructions:

  • To double jump, you tap the jump button in quick succession (2x within 2 seconds, but the longer you wait the less effect)
  • To double dash, you tap the direction you want to dash twice (2x within 0.4 seconds), with a 1.3 second cooldown.
  • To Ledge Grab, if you jump and make it to a block that has no blocks above it, you'll automatically climb up.
