Description

📖 About:
Ever wondered what might be written in Enchantmented Books? Or wished that Minecraft had more lore? Well I've been there one too many times and decided to come up with a solution: Enchantment Lore Forge is a client-side mod that allows you to open Enchanted Books and read their content!
This is a framework that lets anyone add custom descriptions to any Enchanted Book through language files, so a simple resource pack can add or replace an Enchantment's lore. By default it comes bundled with descriptions and lore for all vanilla Enchantments, as well as some modded ones!
This is a Forge port of supersaiyansubtlety's Fabric mod, Enchantment Lore.
✅ Features:
- Open and read Enchanted Books!
- Lightweight and will not cause incompatibility with other mods
- Easily add custom descriptions or lore to Enchantments
- By default includes lore for all vanilla Enchantments
- Uses vanilla book display
- Completely client-side
🤝 Want to contribute?
If you're a mod developer and want your modded Enchantment supported, simply add the lines to your own mod's language file!
Are you a player and want to help add support for modded Enchantments from other mods? Just post your descriptions and lore on GitHub or my Discord and I'll get them added!
🔧 Supported modded Enchantments:

Vein Mining: A mod that adds the titular Vein Mining enchantment, which allows the enchanted tool to break matching connected blocks!
🖼️ Preview:
Right-clicking with an Enchanted Book will open the vanilla book UI including the description and lore! Page 1 by default has the description...

...while page 2 and onwards have the lore!
