Description
Emerald And Ruby is a mod that expands on most areas of vanilla Minecraft. It features new ores, multiple new biomes, a few more foods, another dimension, some custom structures, and a new wood type. It also features some tweaks to vanilla such as picking up mob spawners with a silk touch pick.
JEI is highly recommended.
Some extra useful info:
CUSTOM ORE
-Amber ore only spawns ABOVE y 64
MOB SPAWNERS
-Mob spawners can now be picked up with a silk touch pickaxe
-Spawners can have their mob changed with a Spawner Changer
-Spawners no longer drop xp when broken
-When you place a spawner it will always be a pig spawner
STONE WASTELANDS
-You use the Mysterious Device on the Dimensional Rift to get to the Stone Wastelands
-In the stone wastelands dimension the only mob that spawns is slime, so if you hear any other mobs there is a dungeon nearby
-You will need a SECOND Dimensional Rift in order to return
-All players spawn at 0, 0 in the stone wastelands
MISC
-Coffee beans drop from grass
-The accelerator will accelerate the 2 blocks directly beneath it
-All custom armour provides buffs (potion effects)
-There is a new enchantment, Lava Wader. It is basically frost walker but for lava.
-When shooting the compound bow, the arrow seems to go in a randow direction, however it lands in the correct spot
New equipment tiers:
Steel. Same as iron with an extra 100 durability. Gives strength.
Ruby: Same as diamond but with slightly better enchantability and (almost) halved durability (860 instead of 1561). Gives haste.
Amber: Same as diamond with slightly higher attack speed and enchantability. Gives fire resistance.
Emerald. Better than diamond (enchantability, durability [~2300], and mining speed). Gives regeneration 2.
Endore. The end-game ore. 3600 durability, high enchantability, and high mining speed. Armour gives various effects.

How to Install
Download Forge & Java
Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.
Prepare
Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.
Add Mods
Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder
Enjoy
You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
