Description

Eight's Primates is a mod focused on adding new primates to the game. Currently, there are Orangutans that toss you into the air, Mandrills that attack nearby players and monsters, Lemurs that forage in podzol for cocoa beans, Howler Monkeys that don't like the rain, and more for you to discover in the world! More primates, including Spider Monkeys are on the way as well!
THIS MOD HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. IF YOU WANT A MOD SIMILAR TO THIS ON 1.18.2+, I RECCOMEND MONKE MADNESS.
Q&A:
Q: How is this MCreator and 1.18?
A: Because I manually ported it.
Q: Will this supported on 1.16?
A: No, I made the 1.16 version as a temporary for people waiting on mods to update to 1.17/18. Plus, some primates like the Mouse Lemur can't be added on 1.16 due to them being tied to 1.17+ content.
Q: Will this mod get any more features?
A: Yes, many more primates are planned.
Q: What happened to the Spider Monkey and Proboscis Monkey?
A: I wasn't happy with their features, but they will likely return to the mod in the future.
Q: Why MCreator?
A: MCreator has allowed me to get a mod concept made into a real mod easily, but I would still like to find someone to properly code the mod.
You can put this mod in your modpack!
Thank you to all of the members of my discord, I wouldn't have made it to this point without you!
Have fun! :)
