Edibles is a lightweight vanilla friendly qol styled mod that adds aestetic and fitting new food sources, especially for monsters.
It can fit both in a lightweight modpack with only qol vanilla friendly mods, or in a huge modpack, making a small yet nice addition to the game.
It adds 13 new foods :
Grilled rotten flesh : cook rotten flesh to turn it into a better food
Smoked spider eye : a quite good food source, but hard to obtain
Bone marrow : turn 3 bones into 2 bone marrows. Doesn't give much saturation, but good if you're stuck in a cave with no food
Grilled egg : It should just exist in the vanilla game.
Caramelyzed phantom membrane : made from one phantom membrane with sugar and a honey bottle. So sweet!
Grilled phantom membrane : the salty version. Easier to obtain : just cook it.
Dried moss : a terrestrial version of dried kelp. Cook a piece of moss (made from moss blocks) and here it is.
Horse meat : When was the last time an animal that actually drop food was added to the game?
Cooked horse meat : Cook horse meat. Horse meat good. Yummy.
Jelly : Simpy add slime ball and sugar, you get jelly
Magma jelly : The nether version of jelly, made with magma cream. It gives you fire resistance.
Raw potato fries : you turn 1 potato into 3 potato fries
