A new ore has been discovered near the surface extending down to just above deepslate. It appears the ore is not native to this realm and cannot generate lower than deepslate or it collapses. It has been known to produce pleasant chimes when touched.
- The armor has iron armor points with 1 point of toughness per piece and half the knockback resistance than Netherite.
- The tools are faster("efficiency") than iron (and slower than diamond) and twice the durability. In comparison it has about 3 times less durability than diamond. The damage on the axe/sword is less than iron with a higher attack speed and same durability as tools.
- As far as distribution goes.. a rough estimate is: for every three pieces of Iron Ore blocks there's one piece of Dissonant Ore. Diamonds are roughly 4x rarer than that. So in summary, its rarer than iron but more common than diamond.
This is the first mod I've created. I intend on creating more to eventually be the primary components of their own modpack! I will not be porting it as I do not have to expertise to do so.
