Stops a beacon beam from rendering though clear glass in its path. Configurable.

Works client-side and in single player.

Beacon beams won't render above clear glass or glass panes in their path.

They'll begin rendering again when they encounter another transparent colored block in their path.

All changes are purely visual, this mod doesn't allow beacon beams to go through blocks they usually couldn't go through (full, non-transparent blocks).

Configuration

Supports Cloth Config and Mod Menu for configuration, but neither is required.

Options will use their default values if Cloth Config is absent.

If Cloth Config is present, options can be configured either through Mod Menu or by editing config/discontinuous_beacon_beams.json in your instance folder (.minecraft/ by default for the vanilla launcher).

• Blocks that hide beacon beams; default "minecraft:glass", "minecraft:glass_pane"

• Hiding blocks toggle beams; default true

If an invisible beam passes through a block that hides beams, the beam becomes visible again.

• Remember color when hiding blocks enable beams; default true

When a block that hides beams makes a beam visible again, remember the beam color from before it became invisible.

• Stained blocks enable beams; default true

If an invisible beam passes through a block that changes beams' colors, the beam becomes visible again.

• Remember color when stained blocks enable beams; default true

When a block that changes beams' colors makes a beam visible again, remember the beam color from before it became   invisible.

• Enable beacon beams; default true

Enable or completely disable beacon beams.

I'd appreciate links back to this page if you port or otherwise modify this project, but links aren't required.
