Updated Fabric Fork for Minecraft 1.21.11
DiamondRails is a Fabric mod that makes minecarts viable as late-game transportation by adding extremely high-speed powered rails ⚡
This is an updated fork of arthomnix’s DiamondRails.
The original mod was never updated past older Minecraft versions — this fork brings it fully up to date for Minecraft 1.21.11 and the latest Fabric API.

DiamondRails adds multiple tiers of powered rails far faster than vanilla, turning minecart systems into a serious alternative to Elytra travel.
Think real high-speed trains — in Minecraft 🚄
Top speed: 8 blocks/second
Top speed: 40 blocks/second
Crafted like powered rails, but with diamonds instead of gold
Top speed: 80 blocks/second
Crafted by enhancing a diamond rail in a Smithing Table
Required materials:
• Lapis Block
• Chorus Fruit
Top speed: 159.66 blocks/second
Based on the real-world wheeled train speed record:
574.8 km/h ≈ 159.66 m/s

Crafted in a Smithing Table
Upgrade materials:
• Netherite Smithing Upgrade
• Netherite Ingot
Because of the extreme speeds involved:
• ❌ Modded rails cannot handle corners
• ❌ Modded rails cannot go uphill or downhill
• Use vanilla powered rails before corners to slow down
• Use vanilla powered rails for slopes
• Keep high-speed tracks straight and flat
• Build railways like real-world high-speed train lines
Despite their power, the rails are more affordable than they seem:
• 💎 A few diamond or enhanced diamond rails can boost minecarts for hundreds of blocks
• 🟫 Netherite rails can carry momentum for thousands of blocks
Smart placement > full coverage.
