Description
I've wanted a simple, crystal lamp for a very long time and mods that add that sort of thing are either depreciated (like ChromatiCraft, rip in 1.7.10), or make them weirdly expensive.
Plus I know how to model and I like making art. It was the coding that tripped me up, really.
Until MCreator came around the bend, all, "Hey kids! Wanna make a mod even though you don't know crap about Java?"
So basically, it's just a cute little lamp made of diamond, glowstone dust, and cobblestone. The recipe is shaped:
Empty | Diamond | Empty
Diamond | Glowstone Dust | Diamond
Cobblestone | Cobblestone | Cobblestone.
To dye a lamp, it's just the plain diamond lamp + the dye of choice in the top left corner of the crafting grid because MCreator has a thing for shaped recipes. Currently there's no way to un-dye a lamp or dye an already colored lamp a different color, but I'll probably put aside time sometime later.
It has missing texture particles when you break it, but I have no idea how to fix that (hence using MCreator?), so just pretend I'm Bethesda and it's not a bug, it's a feature.
Made with MCreator and Mr. Crayfish's modelmaker.
Resourcepack in the screenshots is Pixel Reality.
Modpacks are A-OK, no need to ask or link me or anything. Go nuts.
