Description

This mod aims to spice up dying in Minecraft by adding a variety of new death messages to the game. Some messages are displayed when specific events and circumstances happen while others are variations on existing death messages. There are now over 35 death messages introduced by this mod!

This mod supports both Forge and Fabric! Make sure to grab the file for your preferred loader.

Death Messages

The following list contains all death messages added by the mod. It is highly discouraged to read this list as spoiling all of the death messages can take the fun out of them.

  • <victim> slipped in water - Fixes a rare death message from Vanilla.
  • <killer> forced <victim> to eat too many cookies - Die to something using a cookie as a weapon.
  • <killer> gave <victim> a lecture in death - Die to something using a book as a weapon.
  • <killer> chopped <victim> to pieces - Die to something using an axe as a weapon.
  • <victim> was thwarted by <killer> - Alternative generic death message.
  • <victim> was bonked by <killer> - Alternative generic death message.
  • <victim> was defeated by <killer> - Alternative generic death message.
  • <victim> was butchered by <killer> - Alternative generic death message.

How to Install

Download Forge & Java

Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.

Prepare

Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.

Add Mods

Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder

Enjoy

You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
