Dangerous Wasps

Description

This is a mod I made to test the GeckoLib Plugin to made custom animations for mobs! You must install GeckoLib for this Mod to work.

Wasps are territorial entities that spawn mostly in Savannah Biomes. Wasps attack Villagers, Bees, Bumblebees, Spiders, Silverfish, and most important: You.

 

 

 

Wasps come in 7 varieties:

 

- Normal Wasps: spawn in Savannah Biomes and can be spawned by Wasps Hives. Their attacks will apply Poison III to their victims (althought they are not immune to it). Wasps can drop upon death Wasp Honeycombs and rarely a Venomous Stinger, wich can be used to upgrade your Diamond/Netherite swords. Also by feeding a Wasp raw meat or Sweetdrops, the Wasp will be pacified and won't attack anything. Also, in this state, you can fill a glass with Red Honey by right clicking them, but they will be angry again.

 

- Larva Wasps: spawn by breaking Wasp Hives without Silk Touch or nearby entities with the Parasited effect. They drop Sweetdrops upon death.

 

 

 

 

- Red Wasps: have a chance of spawning when another Wasp spawns. They cannot be pacified and will have the Swarm effect activate after targeting a foe. They have the same drops as the common Wasps and cannot poison targets.

 

- Plague Wasps: spawn in the Nether. When they attack they apply the Parasited effect. After dying they drop Wasp Honeycomb and rarely a Plague Stinguer, wich also can be used to upgrade your Diamond/Netherite swords.

- Crystal Wasps: can spawn rarely when another Wasp spawns. They have more HP, attack and Armor Points and apply Poison III and Parasited effects. They also activate the Swarm effect when targeting a foe. Upon death they drop a Swarm Scepter, which can apply to you the Swarm effect, and a lot of xp.

 

 

 

- Bumblebees: spawn in Flower Forests. When fed flowers they can drop Pollen Bombs, which act as ranged Bone Meal. They are neutral.

 

 

 

- Green Wasps: spawn rarely nearby normal Wasps or in Swamps. They attack with a ranged stinger projectile, which causes Poison. They are smaller than regular Wasps.

-  Rogue Hornets: spawn rarely nearby normal Waps (if new gamerule DoRogueHornetsSpawn is true). They are massibe wasps with more attack and health than normal Wasps. They will attack also nearby animals mobs and other smaller Wasps. When they die, they have a chance to drop an Ultraflute, which will kill all nearby Wasps, Bees and Bumblebees. Can be tamed with Sweetdrops, they will transform into Hornets.

 

 

 

This mod also adds:

- 1 new Biome: Infested Forest. A overworld biome filled with Wasps and other arthropods. Also contains new flowers!

- New Villager Trades: Farmers now can buy Bee Honeycombs, Wasp Honeycombs, Red Honey and Swarm Scepters.

- New wood type: made with Wasp Honeycombs.

- New potions: Potions of Poison III, Parasited and Swarm
