Cured Food is a small survival-focused food mod that adds a simple curing system to Minecraft. Discover salt in the world as salt deposits, deepslate salt deposits, salt blocks, and salt sand, then process raw meats and fish in the Curing Station using Raw Salt.
The Curing Station can cure pork, beef, salmon, and cod into preserved foods that restore 4 food bars and provide solid saturation. One Raw Salt can cure multiple items, making salt a useful resource to gather before long mining trips, exploration, or survival runs.
The mod also adds natural salt generation, including cave deposits and salt-themed surface features, giving players another reason to explore underground and across the overworld.
