Description
This is a revival of one of my original mods. It adds pourable, hardening concrete to minecraft, which can be cast to build structures. The concrete can also be poured into rebar molds to produce reinforced concrete.
The mod also adds volcanoes which grow over time, and provide a renewable source of some of the materials needed to produce the concrete.
Concrete Features:
Liquid Concrete
The mod adds liquid concrete. buckets of it can be crafted from either vanilla's powdered concrete, and a bucket of water. It can also be crafted from cement, sand, gravel and water, and then placed into the bucket. Dispensers can place either from the bucket, or the intermediate item directly, allowing for easier mass placement of concrete.
Concrete Formwork
Concrete formwork can be crafted from planks and string in a similar recipe to scaffolding. This formwork follows the same placement rules as scaffolding, and also breaks in a similar manner.
Reinforce Concrete
Rebar can be crafted and placed. Liquid concrete will flow into the rebar, and if it hardens over the rebar it will form reinforced concrete instead. Reinforced concrete is similar in hardness to obsidian.
Painting Concrete
Concrete can be painted via the added paint brushes. The paint brushes can be dyed by crafting them with a dye, and will last for 64 blocks before needing to be re-dyed.
