Description

Lets you have compressed versions of ANY BLOCK/ITEM from ANY MOD. Just add what you want in the config file.

(But it's early days so please do report any problems you might come across)

UPDATE:

I'm changing this mod to a general utility. Instead of adding items to have compression, everything will be compressible by default and you can then override for things (Like add non 4 or 9 sized packets for certain things).

Also version 4 is incompatible with lower versions. Your old compressed items will stop working. So decompress them before using the new version and recreate them with the new version.

Vanilla minecraft (3x) (Large image):

Extra Utils 2 (3x) (Large image):

Storage Drawers (3x) (Large image):

Dev plan:

  • make it work well with other mods
  • generation of better (more recognizable) images for the compressed blocks
  • porting to 1.11.2 , 1.10.2 , 1.9.4 , 1.8.9 , 1.7.10 (in that order)
  • a nice GUI for in game additions
  • a server version

Known Bugs (Comment down bellow or use github):

  •  O  Currently, while items do show up in JEI, recipes don't (They work just fine, it's just that when you click a compressed item in JEI they don't show up)
  •  O  When having multiple mods with the same compressed item (for example this one and Extra Utils) the compacting drawer from storage drawers picks the one that comes last alphabetically and there is no workaround for it :(   (other then to not have the two mods installed at the same time. Which is not a workaround :(   )
