Code44 was created as an attempt to combine something new with elements inspired by both older and more current Minecraft horror-style experiences. This mod supports multiplayer.
The author was partially inspired by The Broken Script, and the mod includes a direct Easter egg referencing it.
The progression is relatively fast. Most events happen during the day, but some also take place at night. The mod focuses on timed anomalies, structures, entities, false encounters, and scripted events that gradually interfere with normal survival.
For the intended atmosphere, it is recommended to keep the built-in resource packs enabled and use shaders with darker lighting and heavier fog.
