Description
Summary:
By now it's enabling the shoulder mount interactions by adding some of the other effects, while lasting for a short time, many pokemons will be useful in certain situations to help their trainers.
In future is planned to calculate the friendship level between pokémons and trainers, so that would make trainers benefit from their pokémons capacities, even without mounting them, just by teaming up with their pokémons outside of the pokéball. Eventually you be able to get yourself some Scyther blades help for cutting down trees :)

How it works?
The default Cobblemon shoulder mounts are very limited list, and also with a limited list of effects. This MOD aims to add effects for more Pokémons by replacing specific information, but that require addition to data that could be also replaced by a server owner, or data pack edit. That means that you can also create your own set of effects!
Cobblemon creatures are configured in the path `data/cobblemon/species/generation/creatureName.json` or `data/cobblemon/species_additions/creatureName.json` for simple adding effects.
Below there's an example of the shoulderEffects array with possible effects. This would be for sure overpower, but can help explaining how it works.
"shoulderMountable": true, "shoulderEffects": [ "dolphin_grace", "light_source", "regeneration", "saturation", "resistance", "slow_fall", "conduit", "haste", "luck", "night_vision", "invisibility", "speed", "strength" ]
If you just want to add effects for a Charmander, you can use a likely code below, inside a file following the path data\cobblemon\species_additions\charmander.json
{ "target": "cobblemon:charmander", "shoulderMountable": true, "shoulderEffects": [ "light_source" ] }
The values of the original species file is being patched, so don't worry about loots and spawns.
