Having to stop mining because you are out of food is annoying. With this vanilla like mod a new plant will appear, the Cavern Root, which spawns in caves.

Adds the Cavern Root. A new plant that spawns in caves and functions as extra food for starving players. With this mod, you will never have to stop mining because you run out of food!
📖 Features
Cavern Root. It generates naturally in most caves. Does not spawn in lush caves as the Glow Berries are enough for that biome.
Twisted Cavern Root. Crafted from a single Cavern Root. It is edible and replenishes 3 hunger (1.5 chicken icons).
Lumen Root. A mutated Cavern Root found below y = 0. It also emits light.
