BoardGames

The BoardGamesAPI is a plugin which is needed to run my Board Game style plugins. BoardGames has two components. A development API and a Plugin.

New Update!

Apologies for taking so long to get an update of this out, I have been very busy. I really appreciate all the messages and I again apologise for not returning some. The reported bugs have been fixed and I've added a few features to the API.

I'm also currently working on a wiki with a guide on making a board game plugin. If anyone is interested in helping develop BoardGamesAPI or creating their own plugin using the API, please let me know.

DevelopmentAPI

Used to create board game style plugins.

• Reduces the amount of code needed to create board game style plugins
• Contains common strings (player messages)
• Contains code for commands, configuration, games, event listeners, highscores, timers and more.

BoardGames Plugin Features

BoardGames Plugin handles the following to reduce the amount of processing the server needs to do.

• Makes it possible to use board game style plugins on CraftBukkit servers
• Commands - all board game plugins run their commands through BoardGames
• Language - BoardGames handles language translation and contains common messages for use in plugins.
• Events/Listeners - BoardGames listens to events on the server not individual board game plugins
• Have more board game style plugins on your server with less lag
• High scores
