Description

Hidden away in ancient chests, you will find evidence of some infernal experiment...
What purpose could this thing have? It looks like it's made of organs... is it alive?

This mod adds the Fetid Meat Flower, which can be found in nether fortress chests.

Feeding it raw meat will make it spit something out in return, and is especially interested in rotten flesh.
Using this plant's tendrils, you can craft the Blood Fruit, which gives the player Health Boost but at the cost of hunger.
Its tendrils seem to latch onto cobblestone eerily quickly. Well, it certainly will make for a good decoration in your evil lair!

It seems to dislike being fed plant matter. However, there may be one plant out there it might enjoy...

By creating the Mark of the Parasite, the player can take advantage of this strange creature's abilities.
Wearing the tendrils make you feel healthier than ever, but for some reason, you feel oddly drained when exerting yourself...

It's probably nothing. Don't worry about it.

The Symbiotic Blade pairs well with the other parasite items, as it heals the wielder with each strike they make, keeping them in the heat of combat even when hungry.

Thanks to Coda and MoonlitLamps for help with textures!

Made as a Submission for Randomized Mod Jam! I hope you enjoy!
