This mod adds Benitoite, a rare real-life gemstone, to Minecraft. You’ll find Benitoite ore hidden in stone and deepslate underground—but you’ll need at least a diamond pickaxe to mine it!
Once mined, smelt the ore into Benitoite Gems. These gems let you craft tools and armor (even horse armor!) that are tougher and last longer than netherite. The mod also adds Benitoite Blocks and Raw Benitoite Blocks (like the ones for iron) for decorating or storing your gems.
There’s also a Benitoite Hammer - swing it at rocks or ores (anything a pickaxe breaks), and it’ll smash a 3-block-wide, 3-block-tall area in front of you. Perfect for clearing out big ore veins fast!
