Angel Totem

Description

Angel Totem is a highly configurable, standalone mod which adds a

vanilla-friendly way to obtain creative flight in survival.

Features

• The Totem of Unfalling grants the player creative flight when held.
• The totem must be bound to a valid bed, respawn anchor, or active beacon.
  • The totem lists its target and bind coordinates in a tooltip, in case you need to check.
• The totem will only work within a configurable range of its target.
  
  • Default is 50 blocks. Binding the totem to a beacon will extend the range depending on the beacon's level.
• Once a totem is bound, it is difficult to unbind.
  • Don't worry! If your totem's target is broken, you can always put it back! Your totem will remember.
• Bound totems can only be unbound with a Beacon ritual.
  • Beacon Rituals are a custom recipe type wherein an item is thrown into the beam of a beacon

When held, the Totem of Unfalling displays a range indicator

With Trinkets installed, the Totem can be equipped in the belt slot.

Planned Features:

-JEI support

-Falling Relief option that makes the player float down to the ground (instead of falling to death) if they drop the totem

-Crouching while grounded with a bound totem in-range will display the totem's binding location with an in-world particle effect for easy locating
